History
HISTORY
“History, we all have one, our first breath, the first page. The older we get, our book fills up! If one picture is worth a thousand words, these photos are like a novel! Funny how they remind me of time past and time left!
Here you will find an historical photo compilation of some of David Hutchins’ music years. From 1962 to the present, a lot have gone missing! This is an attempt to share some bits and pieces of his musical journey.
“I wish I’d had the presence of mind to record the entire journey, oh for a cell phone, who knew!”
Although a number of these photographs have seen better days due to age and neglect, be assured all new updates will satisfy today’s digital standard!
“I hope you can find something entertaining here, you might view them as a reflection of your own choices, your own journey.”
ART
“Playing music, making music and writing music can be one part of the creative’s puzzle but there is more! Creative expression can take many forms and my four years at the Ontario College of Art and Design, Toronto, Canada, is where it matured.”
“I believe the Arts and Music are all soulmates driven by the same powerful need to express themselves!”
Here are some ‘mixed media’ samplings of David Hutchins’ art. Some darkroom and chemicals photography, a felt marker VW illustration mock up, a chalk drawing of actor Richard Burton, a chalk drawing of a dial telephone and a pair of twenty foot ‘Racetrack’ murals, seem to support his philosophy!
